Free Aged Care & Registration Support

Many families know Mum, Dad or a loved one needs help at home, but they do not know where to start. ATN can help explain the process in simple language.

New to aged care?

We can help you understand My Aged Care registration, prepare for assessment and understand Support at Home options.

Already approved?

We can explain referral codes, service agreements and the next steps to start suitable in-home support.

Helping family?

We can talk with adult children, carers or family members who are helping organise support for someone they care about.

We provide guidance and support, but assessment, eligibility and funding decisions are made through My Aged Care, the NDIS or the relevant government program.

Thinking About Switching Providers?

If you already receive aged care services but feel your support is not meeting your needs, ATN can explain how switching providers works and help you plan the change.

We can help you understand what to check before moving, including your current service agreement, referral code, proposed start date and how to avoid unnecessary gaps in support.

Common reasons families ask about switching include unreliable visits, poor communication, unclear fees, support that no longer matches the person’s needs, or simply wanting a more local and responsive provider.

Free switching guidance is available for families across Melbourne’s western suburbs.
